This is a 6-8 hour course (split over 1 or 2 days) with a singular focus on providing you with a fun-filled introduction to the world of sailing! With your Instructor, you will review what you’ve learned about basic sailing topics and skills covered in NauticEd’s “Introduction to Sailing” course. Following review, you’ll get out onto the water and practice what you’ve learned, preparing you to get comfortable on the water and safely start sailing.
As you’ve completed the online curriculum prior to joining your Instructor on the water, the end of the class will include an assessment of your newfound skills. If you qualify, you’ll receive the “Verified Competency” endorsement to go with your NauticEd Basic Sailing Skills Certificate!
